Blake Beaton

Blake, a native of Cape Breton, has worked on projects all over the world. He has been a tremendous asset since joining HJS Consultants in July 2008. His dedication to progress and drive to learn parallel the founding principles of our company. Blake has settled in quickly and now oversees the bulk of our Legal Land Surveying projects.

Experience

  • Analyzed boundary evidence, maps, deeds, and other records to assist in establishing boundaries
  • Conducted field work for legal surveys using a combination of conventional methods and Global Position System (GPS)
  • Prepared survey reports discussing findings, comments and conclusions.
  • Extensive knowledge of subdivision regulations and land use by-laws.
  • Data collection and mapping of underwater structures and topographic features off the coast of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
  • Data collection, processing and final mapping of high resolutions seafloor surveys off the coast of Canada, Gulf of Mexico and areas in the Middle East.
