Cory Sullivan
Cory is a 2nd generation land surveyor having taken over the reigns from his father Hugh J. Sullivan, NSLS in 2004. Cory created a vision of what he wanted HJS to look, behave and feel like. He has since begun a journey to create an exceptional company that fosters employee growth and development while providing outstanding service and advice to clients in all facets of the land development industry.

- Diploma in Engineering, Saint Francis Xavier University
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, University of New Brunswick
- Member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Nova Scotia
- Member of the Association of Nova Scotia Land Surveyors
- Department of Environment and Labour, Qualified Person I (QP I)
Experience
- Analyzed boundary evidence, maps, deeds, and other records to assist in establishing boundaries
- Conducted field work for legal surveys using a combination of conventional methods and Global Position System (GPS)
- Prepared survey reports discussing findings, comments and conclusions.
- Extensive knowledge of subdivision regulations and land use by laws.
- Planned, designed and directed civil engineering projects, such as residential subdivisions including road, water, storm and sanitary sewer design.
- Designed and inspected on-site disposal systems for commercial and residential developments
