With over one hundred acres of vacant land overlooking the beautiful Antigonish Harbour, Mount Cameron Estates is a prestigious residential subdivision, and will consist of nearly 300 residential lots as well as a seniors retirement village when completed. The subdivision is suited in close proximity to numerous amenities, including immediate access to The Landing nature trail along the protected shore of the Antigonish Harbour.
HJS Consultants Ltd. prepared several concept plans, including horizontal road alignment. Phase one of development included the creation 100 lots where we were keen to showcase and maximize the incredible view. We also provided detailed survey plans and construction survey services.Ben’s Brae
Ben's Brae is a fully serviced subdivision with spectacular views of the Town of Antigonish and Golf Course, enveloped in the splendid sounds of the rushing Wrights river. This 30 lot subdivision presents a number of options for different building lots and views.
HJS provided topographic surveying, cost estimates, concept planning, sediment and erosion control plans, detailed municipal servicing plans, legal surveying plans, stormwater management, and construction administration.

The NS Department of Transportation and Infrastructural Renewal proposed and approved a new 4-lane rural freeway by-passing the Antigonish Core, designed to alleviate traffic congestion and maximize highway safety.
A strategic partnership was formed between HJS Consultants and Thompson Conn Ltd. of Halifax, NS to provide all topographic and legal surveying services for 7km of the proposed new highway alignment extending from Beech Hill Road to Taylor's Rd. HJS Consultants Ltd. conducted the necessary field work and prepared detail legal survey plans and corresponding descriptions for the necessary land parcels required to meet the 150m right-of-way, affecting over 30 different land owners.Seascape Holdings
